  • The fee for obtaining licenses to conduct the businesses described in Section 2211 are as follows:

    (a)

    For circus, menagerie, or animal shows where the price of admission for adults does not exceed fifty cents, the fee is $50.00 per day.

    (b)

    For circus, menagerie, or animal shows where the price of admission for adults is more than fifty cents, the fee is $100.00 per day.

    (c)

    For dog or pony shows, the fee is $25.00 per day.

    (d)

    For other tent shows and carnivals, the fee is $45.00 per day. (Am. Ord. 2449—4/27/71)

    (e)

    For musical or theatrical exhibitions or entertainments, the fee is $30.00 per day. (Add. Ord. 2449—4/27/71)

    (f)

    For turkey shoots, the fee is $35.00 per day. (Add. Ord. 2449—4/27/71)

    (g)

    For other traveling shows or traveling entertainments, or other temporary gatherings, the fee is $15.00 per day. (Add. Ord. 2449—4/27/71)

    (h)

    For gatherings in excess of 1,000 persons to a maximum 5,000 persons per day, the fee shall be $100.00 per day for events not exceeding three (3) consecutive days.

    For gatherings in excess of 5,000 persons per day, the fee shall be predicated upon actual staff expense incurred for preparation.

    (i)

    In addition to the above, when the event necessitates additional County services and personnel to protect the general health, safety and welfare, extraordinary fees will be charged, as determined by the Sheriff.
