Appendix 4331. Surfboard, beach, posting.

A beach shall be considered a bathing beach when the County or other controlling public agency has posted signs designating it as a bathing beach at each end of the beach and at intervals of not more than 500 feet along the beach. The area in which surfboards are prohibited is the water at which such beaches form the shoreline to 200 yards seaward from the shoreline of such beaches.
