§ 4493-2. Definitions.

The following definitions shall apply to the words or phrases used in this Chapter.

(a)

Citee means any person to whom an enforcement officer has issued an administrative citation that assesses a civil penalty in the manner provided for by this Chapter.

(b)

Enforcement officer or Animal Control Officer means any County officer or employee who is authorized to issue citations for violations of the Animal Control Ordinance.

(c)

Day means calendar and not business day.

(d)

Hearing Officer means a person who has been designated or retained to conduct a hearing by the Division.

(e)

County shall mean the County of Ventura.

(f)

Board of Supervisors shall mean the Board of Supervisors of the County of Ventura.
