If, in the determination of the Director, the nuisance poses an immediate danger to
the life, health and safety of any person, the Director may order summary abatement
of the nuisance, in which case the Environmental Health Department shall take whatever
action is necessary to abate the nuisance without any prior hearing. In the case of
summary abatement, the Environmental Health Department shall, if practical, give notice
of summary abatement to any person responsible for the nuisance and any other person
affected thereby.
