§ 4856-7. Hearing on abatement costs.

Any person on whom a demand to pay abatement costs has been served may request that a hearing be conducted limited to the appropriate amount of the costs, which such hearing shall then be conducted before an examiner. Said request for a hearing must be in writing, delivered or mailed, postage prepaid, to the Environmental Health Department within twenty (20) days after service of the demand for payment of abatement costs. Service of said demand shall be deemed made on the day said demand is delivered or mailed, registered and postage prepaid, to said person, whichever is earlier.
