§ 8116-0. Title and purpose.

This Article shall be referred to as the density bonus and affordable housing incentive program. The purpose of this Article is to implement the statutory requirements set forth in Government Code Section 65915, et seq. (known as the density bonus law) and programs related to the housing element of the County General Plan. To the extent practicable, the citation to the governing statutory provision is included next to the implementing ordinance section. If any provision of this Article conflicts with state law, the latter shall control. Applicable statutes should be consulted for amendments prior to applying the ordinance provision.
