§ 8116-2.1. Eligibility for density bonus.

Density bonuses are available to affordable housing developers in accordance with this Article for the following:

(a)

Housing developments which include a minimum affordable housing component (Section 8116-2.2);

(b)

Housing developments which include a minimum affordable housing component and a child care facility (Section 8116-2.3);

(c)

Senior citizen housing developments (Section 8116-2.4); and

(d)

Land donations for very low income housing (Section 8116-2.5).

For the purpose of calculating a density bonus, the residential units must be on contiguous sites that are the subject of one (1) development application, but do not have to be based upon individual subdivision maps or parcels. (Government Code Section 65915(i).)
