Fees for the processing of tentative, final and parcel maps, and for other procedures
required or authorized by the Subdivision Map Act or this Chapter, shall be paid in
the amounts, if any, prescribed by resolution of the Board of Supervisors. Except
as otherwise specified, such fees shall not be refundable. Each application for any
such map or other procedure shall be accompanied by payment of all outstanding fees
and charges by and owed to the County under this Chapter or any other chapter of this
Division by the applicant, or by persons, partnerships, corporations or other entities
owned or controlled by the applicant, or owning or controlling the applicant. No filing
fee need accompany applications for activities sponsored by nonprofit organizations
such as Scouts, 4-H Clubs, and Little Leagues, which are solely youth-oriented. No
filing fee shall be charged or collected for any application filed by any County officer,
employee, board or commission on behalf of the County of Ventura.
