§ 8205-8.2. Extension.

  • At any time prior to the expiration of an approved or conditionally approved tentative map, the subdivider may submit to the Planning Division an application for a 36-month extension of the 24 month initial time period for the tentative map and, if the application is timely, the Planning Division shall grant the extension as a matter of right. The submittal of a tentative map pursuant to Section 8203-1 of this Code shall be deemed to include an application for such a 36-month extension unless the documents submitted with the tentative map expressly state that no such extension is requested. There shall be no other extensions of the time period for the tentative map except as required by Section 66452.6, subsections (a) and (b) or Section 66463.5, subsection (d), of the Subdivision Map Act.
