§ 13-2. Penalty.

  • Any person convicted of a misdemeanor, the penalty for which is not otherwise prescribed, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment. Any person convicted of an infraction, the penalty for which is not otherwise prescribed, shall be punished by (a) a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first violation; (b) a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00) for a second violation of the same provision within one year; (c) a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each additional violation of the same provision within one year.
