Appendix 2263. Application.
Any person desiring to obtain a license to hold a motor vehicle race or races shall make a written application to the Sheriff therefor, stating in addition to the information required by sections 2113-2 the following information:
(a)
The name, address and age of applicant.
(b)
The location of the track or course in which it is proposed to hold any such race or races.
(c)
The name of the owner of the land upon which the track or race course is located.
(d)
Whether the applicant has obtained from the owner of the land upon which it is proposed to hold or conduct such race, permission or consent for holding thereof upon his land.
(e)
On what day or days it is proposed to hold such race or races.
(f)
What safety precautions have been or will be taken to insure the safety of the public.
(g)
Whether the applicant has, in effect, a policy of indemnity insurance, issued by a reliable insurance company licensed to carry on an insurance business in the State of California, sufficient to compensate spectators present at any such race held by the applicant for any injury sustained by any spectator as a result of any accident or as a result of any negligent or careless operation to any motor vehicle placed in competition at any such race or competition. Proof of the insurance policy shall be presented with the application.
