Appendix 4696. Renewal.

A certificate of competence may be renewed for an additional two (2) year period at any time in the last quarter of the last year of the current period for which it was issued. The application for a renewal shall be made and processed in the same manner, and shall be subject to the same fee and examination requirements, as an application for an original certificate. In addition, the applicant must show proof that within the previous two (2) years the applicant has attended and passed a backflow prevention refresher course approved by the Environmental Health Division Director.
