The installation of solar photovoltaic or hot water systems on canopies or other structures
over parking areas/spaces is encouraged and allowable, but only if such structures
do not violate any required setback, height, or building coverage restrictions, or
obstruct any required fire apparatus access lanes. Solar structures shall be compatible
in scale, materials, color, and character with the surrounding building(s) and background.
