§ 8205-8.1. Expiration.

Latest version.
  • An approved or conditionally approved tentative map shall expire 24 months from the date it was approved or conditionally approved. Unless a final map is filed with the legislative body or a parcel map is filed with the County Surveyor prior to expiration of the corresponding tentative map, all proceedings shall terminate upon such expiration, and any subdivision of the land shall require the filing and processing of a new tentative map. Said application shall be identified as a previously approved, but now expired map. A final map may be approved and recorded and a parcel map may be recorded after the expiration date of the tentative map if said final or parcel map was filed, with the legislative body or the County Surveyor, respectively, and deemed complete prior to the expiration date.
