Appendix 9412. Certification of imported deciduous fruits and melons required.

It shall be unlawful for any person to ship, transport, sell, or possess within the unincorporated area of Ventura County a commercial quantity of any type of imported deciduous fruit or melon unless such fruit or melon has been certified, pursuant to sections 42791, 42792 or 42792.1 of the Food and Agricultural Code, to meet all of the applicable requirements pertaining to maturity and quality set forth in Division 17 (commencing with section 42501) of the Food and Agricultural Code and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
