§ 1364-10. Designation of Cultural Heritage Sites.

Take steps necessary to preserve Cultural Heritage sites when not in conflict with the public health, safety and general welfare. Such steps may include the creation of civic and citizens' committees; the establishment of a private fund for the acquisition or restoration of such sites; recommendations that such sites be acquired by a governmental agency where private acquisition is not feasible; and recommendations regarding applications for, and administration of, historical property contracts pursuant to Government Code section 50280 et seq.
