Applications for developments that include parking area landscaping or screening requirements
shall include a conceptual landscape plan(s) which clearly illustrates compliance
with the planter layout and dimension requirements of this section, as well as the
number, size and location of all required trees and other plants.
Final landscape plans, including detailed specifications that clearly illustrate and
document compliance with all applicable requirements of this section, shall be submitted
to and approved by the Director prior to issuance of a Zoning Clearance for construction.
No land use may be inaugurated or occupied until a final inspection has been completed
verifying that the landscape has been installed as required by the approved landscape
plan.
All landscape plans shall be drawn to scale and be consistent with the project's site
plan(s). Landscape plans shall comply with the requirements in Ventura County's Landscape
Design Criteria.
