Appendix 2215. Exclusion from fees.

  • While a license is required, no fee shall be required to the issuance of a license to conduct any activity described in Section 2211 of this Article, to any organization which is conducted wholly for the benefit of charitable purposes, and from which a profit is not directly derived by a private individual whether as profits, salary, wages or rental for the use of the property of such person. Nor shall any fee be required for the issuance of a license for the purpose of conducting any entertainment, concert, exhibition, or lecture on scientific, historical, literary, religious, or moral subjects whenever the receipts of such entertainment, concert, exhibition, or lecture are to be appropriated and used by any church or school or for any religious or benevolent purposes within the County, nor shall any fee be required for the issuance of a license for conducting any entertainment, concert or otherwise are to be appropriated for the purpose or object for which such association or organization is formed and from which profit is not derived either directly or individually by any person. In all such matters, the Sheriff shall determine eligibility for exclusion.
